Our Mission:

Connecting prisoners to the employment resources they need to succeed on the outside.

WHAT We Do

Prison to Employment Connection is offered to inmates at San Quentin State Prison who are within one year of a release date or have a scheduled Parole Board Hearing within 6 months. After successfully completing a rigorous 14-week employment readiness program, they are invited to an Employer Day.

WHO We Are

Co-Founder and Executive Director, Diana Williams began her work at San Quentin by volunteering with the California Reentry Program. It was there that she connected with Mr. Butler, who wanted to create a program to help inmates get jobs after release.
