Our Mission:
Connecting the currently incarcerated to employment resources they need to succeed on the outside.
WHAT We Do
Prison to Employment Connection (P2EC) is offered to residents at San Quentin State Prison who are within one year of a release date or have a scheduled Parole Board Hearing within 6 months. After successfully completing a rigorous 14-week employment readiness program, they are invited to an Employer Day.
WHO We Are
Co-Founder and Executive Director, Diana Williams began her work at San Quentin by volunteering with the California Reentry Program. It was there that she connected with San Quentin resident, Mr. Butler, who was interested in creating a program to help the currently incarcerated get jobs after release.
