Our Mission:

Connecting the currently incarcerated to employment resources they need to succeed on the outside.

WHAT We Do

Prison to Employment Connection (P2EC) is offered to residents at San Quentin State Prison who are within one year of a release date or have a scheduled Parole Board Hearing within 6 months. After successfully completing a rigorous 14-week employment readiness program, they are invited to an Employer Day.

WHO We Are

Co-Founder, Diana Williams began her work at San Quentin by volunteering with the California Reentry Program. She soon realized there was a need for a program that would help the men return from incarceration with the confidence and skills to get not just a job, but a career. In 2022 Kevin McCracken took over as Executive Director and is working on expanding this successful program.
